How altered st8 came to be.

It all began with a college roommate, who happened to be an amazing drummer.

Prior to college, Devan would often jot down lyrics in his notebooks. Cue the roommate that would spark his future music growth. It started with teaching himself to play guitar and later developed into wanting to add those written poetic concepts to guitar music. Did you know it can be quite difficult to sing and play an instrument? Devan did not, and he was quite terrible at first. But he stuck with it!

Over the years, the music became easier to play and he grew more confident with recording what he wrote. After many years of experimentation with equipment and gear, Devan was comfortable enough to start playing for people and releasing his music publicly. Good music demands that we work together in harmony; it can heal, and it reminds us of our best moments in life. When it comes to music, Devan’s definitely a lifer.
